Project:Pond and Patio
Description: The client had an old pond and waterfall that leaked, surrounded with vey old and tired paving. As they loved sitting watching their fish, they really felt it badly needed renovating. So with not going away because of the Coronavirus epidemic, they wanted to spend the money making the pond area a nice place to enjoy for summer.
So we completely gutted the lot and started again with a new pond liner, pump and filter. We surrounded it with sandstone and built a new waterfall. The old flagstones were removed from the bottom section, a few ton of soil imported and large rocks were added to create a rockery to surround the pond. Then a small level patio in large Raj Green Indian Stone was installed to the top section of the pond where the client can sit and relax whilst watching their fish. Minimal planting was done to let the client be creative in choosing some shrubs for themselves.
